SERIAL KILLER   According to the FBI handbook, a Serial Killer is someone who has murdered more than four people. This must have been done over a period of time, however-going down the local store or food chain and killing everybody there doesn't mean you?re a serial killer, although the bodies killed may be high in numbers but you could be called a spree killer not a serial killer. Serial killer killings take place one after another, like an old fashioned newspaper serial(which is how the term came to be coined). Serial killer is a modern, mass-media phenomenon: although there were numerous throughout the history, such offenders only became known as serial killers when the police discovered the bodies of their victims consecutively, the resultant press reports chilling the blood of the reading public and giving the impression that no one was safe. Motivations are often sexual. Some enjoy mutilating the bodies of their victims and sometimes resorting to cannibalism. Some claimed to have been overpowered by some evil forces. Some of the serial killers that I?ll present to you have been caught. But still,beware, some of them are not and still out there. JACK THE STRIPPER The police found the first body under apontoon at Hammersmith on 2 February 1964. THE BOSTON STRANGLER It was a hot steamy night in June, 1962 when police were called to a run down apartment building in the centre of Boston. In the bedroom, they found the body of a young woman.
